Pinewood Heath Interface, Balbriggan

This civils project comprised of demolishing an existing boundary wall along the interface of two housing estates in Balbriggan. Mullacurry Construction installed new pedestrian crossing points, steps & walkways, road pavements, line markings & carried out associated landscaping works. The site team successfully completed this highly sensitive project through good public relations & communications on the ground.
Description
- The demolition and removal of panels of wall, railing and foundation.
- The demolition and removal of existing road kerbs.
- Laying of road kerbs & reinstatement of adjoining road carriageway.
- Installation of two pedestrian road crossings.
- Road markings and Traffic Safety signs.
- Installation of pedestrian steps, associated handrails and landings.
- Installation of bespoke pedestrian guard rails.
- Landscape of the public open space.
- Concrete surrounds to existing manhole covers in landscaped area
